The data we collect with Autodesk analytics programs and tools helps us understand how you interact with our products, services, or other offerings. By analyzing usage trends and patterns, we can optimize current features, make positive changes for future releases, improve performance and quality, and provide useful communications.

What we collect

We collect usage data based on your interactions with us or our offerings, and we may associate that information with you or your Autodesk account. The information we collect may include, but is not limited to:

  • Identifiers, such as unique user ID – Allows us to recognize usage trends and patterns and link related usage data.
  • Product ID and license information – Specifies which offerings are used, how they are licensed, and other transactional information.
  • Application session and commands – Reflects interactions and usage patterns within the product based on the commands and actions users have executed.
  • Information about system or device setup and configuration – Indicates, for example, operating system and device types used.
  • Website and other online experiences – Reflects your interactions with our online interaction channels such as websites, blogs, webinars, surveys, events, discussion forums, and chat rooms.

Information about your use of Autodesk offerings helps us improve our products and services, and your Autodesk experience in a variety of ways by enabling us to:

How you can manage your preferences

  • Our products and services: The availability of some features, including personalized insights and in-product feedback, relies on your participation in Autodesk analytics programs. You can manage your participation at any time through in-product settings. Depending on the product/service, go to Help or Settings menu, or contact privacy.questions@autodesk.com.
    Some usage data we collect is required for operational reasons. We may need to process this data to enable certain services or features, maintain security, ensure stability of our offerings, or identify non-valid use of our products and services. We may also use aggregated usage data (which does not identify you) for internal business purposes.
  • Our communications: We may send you learning content, tutorials, and other communications related to our offerings, to enhance and personalize your experience with us. You can manage your communications preferences in your Autodesk account or profile settings, or via unsubscribe links. You can change these preferences at any time. However, you still may receive important or necessary communications, such as those about your account, products and services, technical support, security, and legal notices.

Third party services
