You can upgrade an LT product to full product. If your product is part of an industry collection, you can upgrade to a collection. See Switch to a collection for details.
If your subscription is on a Standard plan, you can upgrade to a Premium plan.
Upgrade to an industry collection or from an LT product to a full product. The way you upgrade depends on how you got your subscription.
Online: If you purchased your product online, turn off automatic renewal. When the subscription expires purchase the full product or collection online. For immediate access to the full product or collection, download a free 30-day trial to use before your product expires.
Autodesk sales or Reseller: If you got your product from an Autodesk sales representative or authorized partner, contact them for assistance.
Set up your industry collection
Usually, your users don’t need to reinstall their software. And you don't need to update serial numbers unless you upgraded from a 2019 or earlier stand-alone product. Updating the serial number may result in an Invalid serial number error. In the rare case that you do need to update your serial number, see Update a serial number.
Note: If you subscribe to a different product through Autodesk sales or a reseller, switch from a Design & Creation Suite, and your current subscription lapsed, you do need to reinstall your software.
Your users can continue using the old software for 30 days from the order date as you complete the switch. In your account, look for instructions to guide you through the trade-in process.
Assign product access to the new subscription. You can use filters to sort users by contract.
(optional) Unassign users from the original subscription.
For new products, your users receive an email that they can sign in to their account to download products.
Admins can upgrade to a Premium plan for more administrative features and support options. See Autodesk plans to compare Standard and Premium and the plans FAQ for questions about pricing and eligible products.
To upgrade your plan, contact us or your reseller.
If you've already purchased a Premium plan, see How to set up your Premium plan.
Use our resources to find the product documentation or troubleshooting articles you need to resolve an issue. If you’re stuck, your subscription entitles you to contact an agent.
